About:
A young worker escapes their job and drifts away; seeking out serenity in the East River. The protagonist of this film has a strong connection with water as
they are able to see the entire length of the river with their own eyes.
When it comes to adult life it can feel high and dry, so keep your ears open for the melodious sounds of the water. The crashing waves sound glorious as their sparkle.

Watch some extra footage from the production of Swimming! A lot of beautiful B-Roll of the river was shot but left unused, so I'm glad to present in this video. There
is also alternate takes that could have worked but ended up getting cut, as well as some peeks of the process in which we came up with the scenes.

Swimming took a whole day to shoot, split between the morning at the park, and the river in the afternoon. It was a stressful shoot as there was a lot to film in so
little time, but we did get some photos of the production for you to see!

An in depth demo for the Maria Hernandez Park and where it would be best to shoot. I ate a tamale right before filming from a street vendor and it was delish! :)
A style I was trying out, overexposed and desaturated. It was intended to highlight the summer heat but production ended up
taking place in Autumn so it didn't make sense to use it.
